These two guys have a YouTube channel called “c90Adventures” they are a man and a his girlfriend traveling the world on two c90s. I recommend that you check them out. However, I will give you some tips to do it as they do it and travel the world on a motorcycle cheaply.
First thing find a used C90 that is working good and cheap. Make sure that the shape is good and it is not that beat up.
Second thing is to check the engine. We recommend that it is a 125cc engine working fine. Starts at first ignition and does not sound loud when it’s working. If the engine is beat up and not working properly we recommend that you get the bike at a cheaper price and get a brand new engine. It usually costs around 250 to 300 dollars.
Third is that you purchase used motorcycle gear. A helmet, gloves, boots and the suite. Make sure to get those used and in a good shape as they are very pricey brand new.
Fourth thing is to find good rear box and two side bags where you will load your luggage. Make sure that they will stand heavy loads and are waterproof.
Fifth and last thing is to get lectured about motorcycles and to do minor repairs such as replacing tires or changing oil.
Make sure that you go through all of the above mentioned steps as traveling on a motorcycle need you to be really knowledgeable about what it takes to ride, prepare or fix a motorcycle.
It is really recommended that you do not travel alone. Make sure that you have company and it is going to be better if one of them has good experience in traveling on a motorcycle.
Another tip that will help you save a lot of money while you are traveling is to pack your own tent so that you sleep in it and save hotel money. It is good when you are a group of people doing that. It is safer and absolutely more fun.
Make sure that you take your cooking set with you so that you cook wherever you want to have food. That is going to help save tons of money as well.
